President (soon to be announced) Michael Manley,

Not only did I vote for you because of your platform, I urged others in our office to 1.vote, & 2.vote Michael Manley.

Having to deal with very frustrating 'multiple offer' situations, where the best interest of our clients had been replaced with commission $$$, I know real change is long overdue.

Nice article in the Star this morning.

With every confidence that TREB members will elect you, I'd like to wish you the very best in carrying our your new responsibilities, Mr President!

Cheers, Barbara

Cathy J. Morrison

The changes Michael Manley is proposing are reflective of a clear, incisive mind; one that understands our industry and the effects that leading-edge technology have upon it; a man who is committed to the very competitive yet co-operative multiple listing system created by our TREB predecessors. As well, it may well help illustrate why the challenges regarding anti-competition and trademark issues miss the mark. You've got my vote, Michael! Cathy J. Morrison

A Fair and Balanced Playing Field. What a concept!! Go Michael Go!

Michael's drive to address the current inequity created by mls.ca is smart and courageous. His idea to introduce an IDX system is brilliant! Finally - a way to level the playing field for new agents, who tend to start out working as buyer agents, but are no less smart or motivated than the established listing agents in our business.

The fair offer system that he is proposing makes perfect (common) sense to me, and will no doubt attract support from educated consumers too.

I absolutely feel that the time has come to have a President at TREB who is pro-active and not afraid to make some changes. The buyer agents will welcome your ideas and the buyers will wholeheartly welcome a "fair offer system" so they know what will happen and what to expect. Go Michael!

For years I have been frustrated when working with buyers in a multpile offer situation. I believe a fair offer system will benefit everyone overall and I also think that with technology these days we should be able to implement a technology driven solution to rectify any confusion and any unethical behaviour in a multiple offer situation. I beleive it is important to implement such a system as soon as possible for the protection of TREB members and our clients. I also feel that MLS.ca should be revised in order to benefit all members as opposed to just listing agents and consumers. I think that MLS.Ca has affected the overall industry in a negative fashion and should be revamped immediately.

Tim Hewetson

A standard procedure for handling multiple offers needs to be put in place. Currently the lack of clarity in the process is proving to be very frustrating for buyers, buyer's agents and even seller's agents.

A rigid process that standardizes the handling of multiple offers will help to level the playing field for everyone and help to protect buyer's and sellers best interests.

Alan Coulter

I don't think MLS.ca has served the Buyer agents well. In the past many Buyer agents could run ads on other listings( with permission) and attract new buyers. As mls.ca is now a HUGE advertising site with practically all the new potential buyers visiting it the buyer agents loose out as there is no way for them to advertise on it. ( yes get a listing, I know ! ) An IDX solution works well for everyone.
